Bottega Sol builds solutions that businesses and individuals use to make their lives more efficient and improve interaction with their customers.

Our products are sold on a subscription basis and new features are being developed and released constantly.  We call it, Mobile as a Service (MaaS).  Our agile development techniques allow us to listen to our customers' feedback and respond with suggested improvements and additions on an ongoing basis.

Bottega Sol is the product development arm of Solstice Mobile, a boutique consultancy specializing in helping large companies improve their business with mobile technologies.  After delivering hundreds of mobile app projects for their clients over the past 10 years, the engineers at Solstice came up with a few ideas of their own.  The manifestation of those ideas takes place at Bottega Sol.

We love to build software.  And that passion comes through in every product we sell.

	J Schwan (Founder and CEO) My product design philosophy is to put the user first and listen.  Designing great products is simple when you give people exactly what they want, and if we can push a little innovation their way to give them something to react to, all the better.
	John Sullivan Customer Service Manager My job is keeping our customers happy. It's not hard given how much they love our products. But every time I get the chance to open up their eyes to more of the features in our platform, it really makes my day.
	Natalie Rodriguez (Business Development) I understand that our software means more to our customers than just another computer program. It's an extension of their brand. It represents a new channel, a new way to communicate with their own customers. It's my job to ensure that our products live up to the brands that they represent.
	Nikhil Bharadwaj (Tech Team Lead) Every product we build starts with a rock-solid foundation. I draw the box for the rest of the team in a way that ensures stability and performance, while not sacrificing creativity or user-experience.
	Sampath Kunta (Senior Developer) My development philosophy begins at the intersection of sound development principles and beautiful user-centric design.  Bottega allows me to build beautiful products that my users know are going to work exactly the way they want it to.

So what's with the funny name?  Here's the definition:

"bottega", noun.

• i.Italian for shop or workplace, adapted to mean the workshop or studio of a master artist

"sol", noun

• i.A colloid that has a continuous liquid phase in which a solid is suspended in a liquid

The ideas and master artisans of Bottega Sol come from our parent company, the enterprise mobility firm , Solstice Mobile. Sol, is a derivation of Solstice, but the definition of 'Sol' describes our products: Fluid, constantly changing for the better, but grounded in a solid business-focused technology foundation.
